Our web sites
www.viewfieldromneys.co.uk - This site was commissioned to promote the Maxwell family's very successful sheep breeding enterprise in Scotland's south west. As the business develops further so too will its web presence which already includes an additional holiday cottage site designed by Purple Thistle PR partner Melissa Priddy.
www.bleudumaine.co.uk - This web site, launched in June 2011 was designed in response to a request from the Bleu du Maine Sheep Society (UK) seeking to promote their breed, update their profile, offer an enhanced on-line resource to their members while attracting new business.
www.beltedgalloways.co.uk - The Belted Galloway Cattle Society of UK and Eire commissioned Purple Thistle PR to design and build a site that would act as a business tool while further developing this famous breed's profile locally, nationally and internationally.
www.scottish-harp.com - This was a welcome commission - to produce a fresh new web site promoting the many talents of a well known Scottish harpist and singer.
www.crossleecottagescotland.co.uk - This commission to design a web site for a charming holiday cottage - 'Crosslee Cottage' resulted in this fresh, new web site. We developed the site to include the promotion of a number of other rural tourism related businesses, maximising the benefit for all concerned.
www.luingcattlesociety.co.uk – The Luing Cattle Society commissioned this site from Purple Thistle PR in spring of 2009. The aims of this informative breed site are to promote the breed while facilitating good communication between members and between members and the breed secretary. The site also carries all latest news, market reports, newsletters etc. keeping members and potential buyers right up-to-date with all developments. It has a content management system enabling the society secretary to keep the site fully up-to-date.
www.rideborders.com - RideBorders was devised and designed by Purple Thistle PR in 2006 to promote all aspects of the Scottish Borders' equestrian industry. It fulfilled its aim in making a significant business focused contribution to the development of the Borders' equestrian industry. Due to the owner's relocation, the site was taken down this year.
www.estek.co.uk – a departure from the norm as far as Purple Thistle PR is concerned but a fascinating challenge! The request to re-design this site came from the building industry who wanted to re-brand their 'construction cost estimating software.' Sharp, clean, complex and contemporary, this site met the needs of the client. As initially requested, he now has his own access and has taken control of the site modifying text, adding images, graphs etc... when he sees fit.
www.kinnairdcrosscountry.co.uk – this web site promotes a cross country course in Fife which targets riding clubs, pony clubs and young riders as well as their friends and families. The brief was to create something 'family friendly' with visitor appeal too plus a 'news and events' page that we regularly update. Purple Thistle PR also designed the logo as well as appropriate road signs and fliers which all formed part of this project.
www.sup.org.uk – this is an elegant multi-functional site that constantly changes and which promotes all the work of 'The Southern Uplands Partnership.'
www.fox-fencing.co.uk - A very simple 'web presence' – meeting the needs of the client's budget and his business.
